June 27, 2009: Show Choir Concert

 Let our students dazzle you with both their moves and their voices! Our student recital will be held at the Village at Castle Pines in the old Jasmine Boutique Saturday, June 27th at 10am.

June 26, 2009: Rock Band Concert

Come down to the Village at Castle Pines to hear our campers rock out and show you what they've learned the last two weeks! The show starts at 11:30am in the courtyard beside Rodney's.     

June 15-26, 2009: Rock Band Camp

Kids ages 8-18 learn how to play guitar, drums, and sing 3 popular rock songs. By the end of the 2nd week they will record a CD, perform a live show, and walk away from My Music Skool as musicians!      

June 6-27, 2009: Show Choir Camp

Kids learn popular broadway tunes and corresponding dance moves. Beginners get a good taste of show choir while more advanced students will get to work on their range and performance. 

May 3rd, 2009 : Sarah Dawson, Composer

The Boulder Chorale will be premiering the beautiful works by our own Sarah Dawson.           Those featured will include, 5 Poem-settings to "Anna's Poems" : Giraffe, T-Rex, Doggie, Unicorns and Pirates.

Spring, 2009 : Sarah Dawson, Pianist/Composer

Soprano Nicole Pantos and our own Sarah Dawson will be giving a concert of Sarah's beautiful music at the Nicholas Roerich Museum in New York City.  The concert will  include the world premiere of her song-cycle, "What Power."  It is a musical setting of nine poems by Boulder poet Eleanor De Woskin: Silence in a Canyon, The Field Mouse, Inspiration, Where Are the Words, What Power, Twilight, Grandmother Rhymes, Morning and Memo to God.  Also on the program is to be her Four Songs for Soprano, which is set to the poetry of Jennifer Thomas:  Too Close to Count, Song for Reuben, The Water Pump and Blossoms.  Another of her song cycles, originally premiered at the Roerich Museum, "Reflections on Motherhood," will be on this program.  It includes a poem by Rumi, Crying Out Loud, one by George Mac Donald, Baby, and one by Deborah Frasier, On the Day You Were Born.  Also on the program is a set of vocal obbligatos which accompany Bach Preludes, and "Two Lyric Impulses" for violin and piano, which was originally premiered at Columbia University.

Our very own Jonah and his new blues trio, Spare Change is playing and he will also be performing an acoustic opening before the trio.

December 6th, 2008 (Sat) : "Meet The Santa" at the Village.

Village at Castle Pines is hosting their annual event on Saturday, December 6th  from 3 to 7pm.  Our instructors and students are invited to perform Christmas pieces.  Come join us and have a fun evening at the village and meet the Santa and his Mrs!  My Music Skool will have some goodies and hot chocolate for our guests!
